Natural Ways to help with pain…
Arthritis Rub: Mix 2 drops each of wintergreen, lemongrass, frankincense, and eucalyptus oils with a small amount of fractionated coconut oil and massage into painful areas.
Joint & Arthritis Pain Relief: 4 drops Juniper Berry, 3 drops Marjoram, 3 drops Roman Chamomile, 3 drops Ginger, 3 drops Helichrysum. Mix essential oils in a roller bottle with 1 teaspoon carrier oil, shake and use as needed. OR add essential oils to 1/2 cup Epsom salt, stir; use in a hot bath.
Migraine Interrupter: Place 1-2 drops juniper berry oil and helichrysum oil on the back of the neck. Dilute if desired
Headache Resolve (also works to reduce swelling): Layer or mix prior application 1-2 drops each cedarwood, peppermint, frankincense oils to areas of need. Reapply every thirty minutes until a headache or swelling are gone. Dilute as desired.
Headache Blend: 7 drops peppermint, 5 drops lavender, 5 drops frankincense. Combine oils into a 5ml roller bottle. Fill the bottle with fractionated coconut oil or other carrier oil. Apply as needed. Reapply every thirty minutes until relief is achieved.
Pain Away (soothing blend for jaw, knee, foot pain): Immediately use helichrysum oil, soothing blend, and frankincense oil on site of pain. Reapply frequently (every twenty to sixty minutes) until relief is achieved. Continue to apply to support the healing process.
Sore Muscle Salve: 1 tablespoon beeswax, 4 tablespoons carrier oil, 10-30 drops each of wintergreen, lemongrass, marjoram and/or lavender. Gently melt the beeswax with the carrier oil over very low heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, and allow to cool. While still soft, stir essential oils into the mixture. Pour into a small glass storage container. Cool completely before putting on the lid. Apply to sore muscles or any aches and pains.
Sore Muscles Soak: Mix 4 drops black pepper, 2 drops rosemary, 1 drop ginger into 1/2 cup Epsom salt. Add to a bathtub of hot water and soak for up to thirty minutes. Remember to drink lots of water while soaking and thereafter.
